Determine the solution and approach of the Service Engagement Change are the actions to be taken based on the nature of
the change and the outcome to be achieved.
Occasionally, proposed solutions are rejected, as they may be considered to be inappropriate, too costly or too complex
to implement. Identifying alternative solutions and a recommended approach should be drawn up for major Service
Engagement Changes. As soon as the final Service Engagement Change solution is agreed, the relevant actions will be
integrated into the Service Engagement Change plan (use Global Transition Method where applicable) for the final
approval by the Client and Capgemini.
As Service Engagement Changes will affect the contractual baseline, the Service Engagement Manager must assure that
adjusting all relevant contractual deliverables is a part of the plan.
